As I mentioned earlier today, one of the most gratifying parts of Penny Experiment is when couponers make a food bank delivery. It truly is the culmination of work done by so many people in small steps, but shows that with creativity and effort, even small amounts of money (like a penny) can do a lot of good.
DJ, who writes the blog Saving My Sanity, One Coupon at a Time, recently made her trip to Helping Hands (her local food bank) to deliver 47 pounds of food she had purchased for Penny Experiment:
