I made another quick trip to the supermarket on Tuesday to take advantage of the Safeway buy 4 for $1.50 discounts that were ending the next day since I was able to scrounge up a few more $1.00 off coupons.
I ended up purchasing 4 more boxes of Cheerios and 8 bags of Nature Valley Nut Clusters for $0.50 each. That meant that I was able to purchase $44.28 worth of food for $6.00 and an 86% savings:
The items purchased will be added to the growing master list of all the food purchased for Penny Experiment. Adding these to our total, couponers have now purchased $1109.79 worth of food for $121.44. One more small step that leaves us $998,890.21 left to go to reach the $1 million goal…
