Jessica from This Frugal Life (formally That Coupon Girl) took advantage of the nearly free Kellogg’s cereal promotion last week to secure 15 boxes of cereal for her local food bank for free along with a lot of other stuff for herself. That was $52.35 worth of food for nothing out of pocket which is pretty darn hard to beat:

The 15 boxes of cereal will be added to the Penny Experiment food purchased master list. Couponers have now managed to purchase $3560.50 worth of food for $299.88. Penny Experiment is now only $996,439.50 away from reaching its goal of $1 million worth of food for food banks…
