It’s always a good day when I hear that more food has been delivered to a local food bank. The Budget Mommy took the food that she had collected for Penny Experiment and made a delivery to her local food bank.
Unfortunately, the local food banks in The Budget Mommy’s area won’t take non perishable food. That doesn’t mean that they went to waste. She took the frozen and cold items to families at her church that have husbands out of work which basically just cut out the middle man. It is wonderful to continue to see food going to people that need it all from a penny found on the ground…
