Jenny Ward Saves 77% for Penny Experiment

The growing number of couponers that are helping out with Penny Experiment are who will ultimately help Penny Experiment reach its goal. Most of these people are everyday shoppers who add on some extra food when they find a good deal, but when you have a lot of people making these smaller purchases, they can add up to big numbers. I hope that as Penny Experiment grows and more and more couponers join (please consider joining if you are a couponer), that it will be their effect that makes this project a success.

A good example of this is Jenny Ward who made a trip to her local CVS and came away with 8 boxes of cereal worth $36.04 for $8.32:

These eight boxes of cereal will be added to the Penny Experiment food purchased master list. When combined, the couponers have managed to purchase $3508.15 worth of food for $299.88. Penny Experiment is now only $996,491.85 away from reaching its goal of $1 million worth of food for food banks…
