It’s always wonderful to welcome a new couponer that has decided to participate in Penny Experiment. Keri from Coupon Keri (be sure to check out all the great information she has on her blog for grocery savings) made several trips this past week and came away with an amazing $89.90 worth of food for $0.74 – a 99% savings over regular retail prices:
The food purchased included:
3 bags of No Yolks noodles
3 bottles of Fruit 2O
13 jars of Frenchs mustard
3 bottles of Texas Pete hot sauce
1 box of Post cereal
6 Mahatma Yellow Rice mixes
6 Ortega Seasoning packets
1 Starburst Candy
3 Barilla Pasta’s
10 Breakstone Sour Creams
10 Birds Eye Steamfresh Veggies
She then delivered all the food to Harvest Hope Food Bank
All this food will be added to the Penny Experiment food purchased master list. The amount of food that we have been able to purchase continues to grow, and couponers have now bought $6720.14 worth of food for $409.05. This is another small step toward the Penny Experiment goal of $1 million worth of food for food banks and leaves $993,279.86 to go…
